What size football should I choose?

This is one aspect of soccer equipment that needs to be chosen carefully, especially for children. How many young players try to kick a size 5 ball, almost tripping over it because it's too big for them?

Here are the recommended sizes according to the age of your young footballers:

• Size 2 footballs are recommended for children aged 4 to 6.
• Soccer size 3, under 7 to 9 years old
• Soccer size 4, ages 9 to 14
• Soccer size 5, 14 years to Adults
